Waitlist and week-one coaching emails

When you join the waitlist, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, and information about your dog. We also record information needed to document the disclosure shown to you, including the disclosure version and the date and time of your submission. We may collect a timezone from your browser or account so coaching messages can be scheduled at appropriate local times.

If you receive access, we associate the qualifying waitlist record with your ModDog account through a protected account-provisioning process. We use this information to determine whether the limited week-one coaching sequence is part of your service, schedule and personalize the messages, process your preferences and unsubscribe requests, prevent duplicate or unwanted delivery, investigate delivery problems, and maintain compliance and security records.

The messages may use information associated with your training, such as your first name, your dog's name, and skills or topics recently practiced in ModDog. If you reply, we collect the contents and metadata of your reply. Authorized members of the ModDog team may review replies to provide support and improve the service. ModDog does not use an automated system to send replies on Steve's behalf for this launch.

We disclose the information needed to provide these functions to service providers that operate on our behalf, including account/database infrastructure and email-delivery providers. These providers may process identifiers, message content, delivery metadata, and preference events only as needed to provide their services to ModDog and subject to their agreements with us. This section does not authorize ModDog to sell waitlist or coaching-email information or use it for unrelated targeted advertising.

You can stop the week-one coaching sequence at any time through the unsubscribe link in an email or the available account control. We retain the minimum suppression record needed to honor that choice and avoid sending the sequence again. Other waitlist, account, training, reply, security, and audit records are retained under the retention periods stated elsewhere in this Privacy Policy or as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and security.
